No one knows the secret to her formula, which she keeps hidden in the rain bonnet she always wears. And yet, although it has remained hidden from the public, it has also brought biscuit delight to millions around the globe. And you can enjoy her biscuits
any day of the week! Just drop by Old Mother Mayeye’s Biscuit Delight eatery in
downtown Nibbling and nibble some samples. And if you’re around on a Thursday, join
the Nietzsche Study Group hosted by the Society for Beefy Nihilism. It’s really
nothing much, but they’d love your company. Or not. Fridays are more exciting, as
Plato’s Republicans gather to plot ways to practically implement his societal
suggestions in Nibbling. Stay tuned for trouble!
Old Mother Mayeye’s
Biscuit Delights™
788 S Main, Nibbling
Hello, all ya Nibbling peepers! I’m the one all native Nibbler’s call Old Mother Mayeye. I’ve got aboot 9 minutes before my next batch of biscuits comes out of the oven, so there’s not much time to tell ya how glad I am you stopped by.
Hector is very special to me and my husband Oscar, the ol’ coot! Ever since Hector’s dad disappeared into the Strange Uncharted Mountains, (his mom died from cancer soon after), we have been surrogate parents, I guess you could say.
If our Nietzsche study group isn’t your cup of tea (you won’t find Hector there), try out Hector’s weekly Nihilist Lites of America podcast. They gather here at my Bed and Biscuit too, in a special studio Oscar built for them in the back, and cast to thousands of listeners.
Try asking for the coveted guest pass, if you’re ever here in Nibbling, (joining the 100’s of NLA pilgrims we see every year) to experience the podcast in the studio live in real time. Don’t get your hopes up, though, as the waiting list for the pass sits at 2.5 years, currently. But we broadcast it here in the restaurant too, offering all you care to eat biscuits to boot. Either way, it’s a lot of fun, and Hector keeps us all laughin’ and thinkin’, stretchin’ and ponderin’…we love our Hector Klumpp!
Oops! Biscuits are ready!
Come on over! Whenever you arrive, there’s sure to be a fresh batch just coming out of the oven for ‘ya!
